What are Hose Couplings

 These are devices connected on the end of hoses to couple them to taps, other hoses or hose appliances like irrigation sprinklers. They come in different designs and patterns made out of stainless steel, steel, brass, aluminium or plastic. One made of brass is suitable for joining a hose to another or a type of appliance. Common Types of Hose Couplings

There are several classifications of Hose couplings, and three well known are; Threaded couplings, Non- threaded gendered couplings and Non-threaded genderless couplings. The most common within this class are the Storz couplings since little effort is needed for the connection and the “Air King” which are universal air hoses and requires only one air king safety clip for each coupling.
